My goal is to focus on eating the "right" pre/post workout snacks. I am historically not good at either and I really liked the video that was posted on pre/post nutrition. For me (while I like variety); I am going to start small and consistent: a banana before and a protein shake after (lower cal one that is high in protein)...because I still have to have enough calories to eat dinner!
My holiday goal is to maintain my workouts (I’ve been tired lately but I know I would be worse without my workouts!). I’ve also been making an effort to do things on the weekends (bowling, Topgolf, girls trip). My normal is to avoid the winter by not leaving the house unless I have too on the weekends!
My goal is simple. During these next 7 weeks, I want to lose 10 pounds. Yes, it's a hefty goal, especially with the holidays, but with the right support system, I think I'm fully capable of doing it!
My goal is to maintain working out 5-6 times a week at AFS, back to logging all my food and sending my summary to Cody before he asks for it , and increase my water intake since I’ve been slacking terribly. My biggest goal though would be to not gain weight and hopefully lose maybe 5 pounds instead. I have a terrible weakness to sweets and socially drinking.
My goal is to stick to the healthy eating habits I've been following for the past few months and to get to the gym three days a week with my 14 year old.
My goal is to keep working out at 4 fitness solution classes a week. Keep my water intake at a minimum of 3 liters a day. I love the beach and the sound of the ocean. My goal is to not complain about the cold and snow as a look forward to my time at the beach December 10-17th.
@Gayle Grady I love your goal of accomplishing a task each day! I may incorporate that into mine as well. It’s so easy to get too busy during this time of year. Great idea! Thanks!!

@Corinne Albrecht Do you ever get too hot at night using a weighted blanket? I feel like I can only sleep well if it's January Michigan weather in my room at night, but I LOVE being dumb comfortable (so you might see my difficulty here finding a balance). @Corinne Albrecht
@Danny Gossman as someone who would genuinely open the windows every night if I wasn't next to a highway, I am with you 😂 I can say with complete honesty that I've never felt too hot under a weighted blanket! The weight is very calming and relaxing, not suffocating, and thus I don't feel claustrophobic or hot. I sleep with the weighted blanket and a light comforter w/ a fan on, which is perfect for me. If I wake up sweaty, it's the kind of deep-sleep sweaty you get after a good nap, not a "oh god it's so hot" sweaty 😆
Okay I know I am a little late to the party but I still wanted to put my goals out there. The more people we tell the more accountable we feel.. so here we go... after some thought and help from @Heidi Morris and @Heather Quinlan --
My first goal is more for my well-being/mindset/inner peace. I want to read just TWO PAGES of my book a day. Yes, you read that right. Just two. because that leads to three then four then maybe a whole chapter. But starting out small feels less overwhelming to a person who starts and stops books all . the . time. :) This also starts my morning on a great note of being in my own world versus having social media be the first thing I do when I wake up.
My second goal is more health related -- I want to strive to stretch before bed at least 3 times a week for 5 - 10 minutes. No distractions. Just some soft music and deep breathing.

My goals are:
continue 3x/week classes
mindful eating: before snacking taking time to think am I hungry or bored?

A trail walk club sounds awesome!

@Tricia Nault I accept your challenge! *said in a valiant knight accent*
My planned indulgences will be: 1 bowl (I suppose a small one :P ) of puppy chow on Thanksgiving. And 2 homemade Christmas cookies.
I'm already thinking of all the support I will need on this one! Let's do it!
Goal Set !
5 lift days, 2 cardio, 1 rest per week!
@Rachelle Fanelli Rachelle!!!!!! I didn't know you were an AFS member! 😄
FYI to those with sleep issues (and @Chris Early @Angela Johnson @Alyssa Romig @Darcy Blakemore !), a client let me know that the blanket I recommended is currently on a "lightning deal" sale for the next few hours! Just in case you're in the market: https://www.amazon.com/ZonLi-Weighted-Blanket-Cooling-180-220/dp/B075W94KB3
@Corinne Albrecht thank you!! I've wanted one of these for a while! 😍
@Tricia Nault of course! Just passing on the good news from @Janani Ramaswamy :))

@Lisa Amin Thank you! Thus far I have completed my laundry room, mud room, den, and a few kitchen cabinets. Still working on cabinets.
